PHARMACY ASSISTANT/INTERN PHARMACIST FOR 2024

Kingsdene Pharmacy is a small independent community pharmacy located in the suburb of Carlingford in North West Sydney which is committed to customer health needs and exceptional customer service. We are looking for a friendly and hardworking pharmacy student who is willing to learn and grow.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Current Pharmacy Student OR Masters of Pharmacy Student
Previous experience in community pharmacy is highly regarded
General pharmacy product knowledge
Excellent communication skills- both in verbal and written form
Ability to work individually and within a team
Ability to multi-task
Great attention to detail
Keen interest in professional services

The main duties include:

Learning and assisting the pharmacist in providing pharmacy services
Dispensing medication and counselling patients under the supervision of a pharmacist
Assist in conducting professional services such as Meds Checks
Assist in the preparation of Dose Administration Aids
Perform home deliveries to local patients
Complying with QCPP requirements and procedures
